![]() | The main aim of Ballet Bristol is to bring dance to those unable to see performances in the theatre and to involve the entire community, of all backgrounds and ages in the magic of ballet . We welcome all dancers of all levels and our performances have taken us to Nursing and Residential Homes, Community Events and Nursery Schools. We would welcome hearing from anyone who would be interested in us providing a free performance. |

Thank you so much for a wonderful performance. It was a real treat to have such a wonderful group of dancers perform for us. I had so much positive feedback from our residents, families and staff, they really loved it! I must also thank you for using the available space on the housing unit, rather than the larger hall. This meant that the Service Users that are unable to leave the unit were also included which was fantastic. I wondered how many of our Dementia Service Users would be able to concentrate for an extended period but they were so engaged, they managed the whole performance. If possible we would love to book you again. Thank you again and please pass on my thanks to all who took part and gave up their valuable time. Bupa | |
Thank you so very much for a wonderful performance. The residents loved it so much and were talking about it days after the event. It was really magical and I do hope that you will come again. St Monicas Trust |
I just wanted to thank you so much for bringing your delightful ballet workshop to the Bradley Stoke Leisure Centre crèche. The children and staff really enjoyed the session with you and I can only describe the children as mesmerised by your performance and your costumes. We have had great feedback from children, parents and Leisure Centre management. One little girl has been inspired to join a local ballet class and the centre management would like to invite you to perform next time they have a free open day for the public, so look out for a call from them in the future. Many thanks again. Good luck with any future plans. Bradley Stoke Leisure Centre |
I would like to say a very big thank you for your support of the International Woman's Day event – I am sure you will agree that the IWD/OWA gala event was a success – several persons have commented on how beautiful the ballet performances were and that they were not expecting something so professional!! Many grateful thanks to all the company for their great efforts in executing a delightful performance for the residents. The content and duration was perfect bearing in mind the restricted area you had to work in. It was also a pleasure to meet you all afterwards and chat over a cup of tea. Susan Hampshire House |
Dancers I think that beginners class is fantastic. Coming from a completely non dancing background, I was nervous about going but everyone is really supportive and I’ve learnt a lot in the lessons I’ve been to. I look forward to every class. |
| I have really enjoyed attending the beginners class. The enthusiasm of everyone involved is infectious. It is affordable and community spirited with people giving up their time for free to make ballet more accessible and fun. The class is open and friendly with everyone having a great time – especially me! |
I have thoroughly enjoyed ballet. I have wanted to do it again ever since I gave it up when I was younger, but never really saw any adult beginners classes. All of our teachers/instructors are fantastic, the class itself is always fun and you definitely feel worked at the end of the hour! I think our teachers patience and passion for ballet is brilliant. I look forward to it every week. |
It has been a delight to find an adult class to join where I can feel comfortable ‘starting again’ after 30 years absence. How lovely and welcoming everyone involved in the class has been. I look forward to Wednesdays! |
